Summary
On 29 September 2026, from approximately 15:40 to 16:25 UTC, users were unable to sign in to Printix, with some encountering a certificate validation error in their browser during authentication.
Root cause
An error occurred during a routine certificate refresh, which left the certificate chain incomplete. As a result, browsers and clients could not verify the certificate as trusted, causing sign-in attempts to fail.
Resolution
The certificate was reissued with the complete chain and redeployed to the affected services. Sign-in was confirmed restored by approximately 16:25 UTC.
Preventive measures
We have updated our certificate management process to include an additional verification step after each certificate refresh, ensuring the certificate is valid and complete before the service is released to production.
